Harry Potter and the Cursed Child plays cast Draco's son, Scorpius Malfoy
 

The first casting outside of the trio has been revealed for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child - British actor Anthony Boyle will take on the role of Scorpius Malfoy, son of Draco and Astoria Malfoy in the eighth story of the saga.

The revelation comes from Boyle's casting page, where the PDF file of his acting CV lists Scorpius as the character he is portraying in the two-part play beginning this June. Click on 'Download Full CV' to see it (though it is very probable that the agency will take the name off once it has been made public).

Do note that Boyle will no doubt have his hair dyed blond for the role.

As of now there is no word yet if Draco and Astoria have been cast, though it is safe to say that neither Tom Felton nor Jade Olivia will reprise their roles.

I do hope the rivalry will continue...adds a lot of interest and gets the emotional juices flowing in the audience. Remember how we clinched our teeth and wanted to smack Malfoy in the original movies? Well, that emotion surely must continue...

I do assume his hair will be bleached to match the pale blonde that is his father.
