A very happy birthday goes to actor
Daniel Radcliffe, who turns 23 years old today, July 23, 2012! Dan, as everyone of course knows, has played our fearless Gryffindor hero and titular character Harry Potter in the film franchise since the age of 11, when he was cast over ten years ago. Dan has starred in all eight films, from
Sorcerer's Stone in 2001 to
Deathly Hallows: Part 2, released a year ago.
In addition to his rather massive contribution to the
Harry Potter series, Dan's other projects including such films as
December Boys,
My Boy Jack, and
The Woman in Black; Dan made his West End and Broadway debut with
Equus, and returned to the stage last year with the musical
How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.
Up next for Dan is an array of television and film roles, including
Kill Your Darlings,
A Young Doctor's Handbook,
The F Word, and
Horns - just this year! Dan's already set to head back to London's West End next summer in
The Cripple Of Inishmaan.
