Half-Blood Prince receives best cinematography Academy Award nomination
The Academy Awards nominations were announced minutes ago, where Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince received one: Best Cinematography for Bruno Delbonnel.
The Oscars will be given out Sunday, March 7th at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles. We will have much more that day.
Congratulations for Bruno and the film on the recognition!
It would be AMAZING if we could win this time. This is the 7th nomination the HP films have gotten, but I have a feeling it might go to Avatar...just an inkling. HBP deserves it though. I thought the cinematography in HBP was much more creative than in Avatar. If you take away all the special effects, then there was nothing special about it. Anyways go HP!
I agree. It irks me too! The films are never bad, so to despise them is ridiculous. There's nothing wrong with disliking one because it didn't live up to your expectations (that's never happened to me), but to hate it seems weird if you're a fan. HP always has my full support. Always!
I must say, I completely agree with both of you! Besides, you have to give the directors and film producers some credit...I mean, they can't make a 700 page book, where every single page is important, into a movie without cutting stuff out! Unless they split the movie into two separate movies...which is wats happening for DH...AHHHH!!!! SO EXCITED!!! ;D P.S. avatar ROCKED! hahaha
