| | |  Half-Blood Prince official logo now online
The official logo for the sixth film, Half-Blood Prince, has been released, and can be seen in high resolution here. It is the same format of the official logos for the previous five films; the logo here is similar to the Portuguese and Spanish versions of the insignia, which were released last year.  Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will be released July 17, 2009.

Because of that whole situation, I'm only moderately excited about the release of the movie.
The logo does look darker.

Translation: The release date is 6-ish months away and they want us to start getting excited for it now. Probably so we'll buy the merch as they slowly release that to build suspense.

Wohoo!! Cant wait!!!! Ya know guys we cant do anything about the release date. Yeah, I was royally ticked off when I saw the new date for it-trust me!!!! I held onto that grudge for a few weeks afterwards. But now that is 2009, it really is only 6 months away!!! Think about it, we will not have to wait so long in between for the last HPs!!!! So yeah we know it is for the money but I do believe there is some merit in what WB was saying that b/c of the writers strike they didnt have alot for the summer. Once again, for anyone who is begrudging the release date being so far away, we all know those people, including myself will be seeing it at least 4-5 times!!!  So here is to 6 months
