| | |  Half-Blood Prince filming commences in Lacock (UPDATED)
Filming for Half-Blood Prince was due to start last night in Lacock, England, featuring Dan Radcliffe, Ralph Fiennes & Death Eaters. Details about the shoot are at the moment vague, with some reports claiming the shooting starts tonight.
Jean Sheard, who owns the Lacock Bakery in Church Street, said; Quote:
"Last time Warner Brothers came to shoot here they were very secretive about everything which was really disappointing.
"But this time they have been so honest and upfront - I cannot praise the crew highly enough."
Scenery & lighting has already been erected, with houses being painted a darker colour to make them look "sinister" - this is for scenes with the Death Eaters. Resident's windows are also being blacked-out to avoid light shining in and out of their homes. Quote:
Security is thought to be heavy on the site on Cantax Hill, West Street and Church Street.
A spokesman for Wiltshire Police said: "We have four officers covering the day shift and another four officers covering the evening shift and night patrol. Our presence there is to secure the site."
UPDATE: A further report, via the same local newspaper, contains more details and another photo from the location. Pictured is a crane holding up a piece of lighting equipment intended to mimick the moon.  Quote:
A member of the film crew said: "The light will look like moonlight and it is made up of lots of smaller lights inside to give that strong effect.
"People keep trying to guess what it is and what is going on."
Dan Radcliffe is due on set tonight & tomorrow evening. Brown tape has been put on houses to recreate the effect of wooden beams. The scene thought to be shooting is the one in which Harry Potter & Dumbledore arrive to ask Horace Slughorn to return to Hogwarts as Potions Master.

yea...what scene ARE they filimg? well, witchever one it is, it should me cool!! It might be a scene when harry and dumby come back from the cave and ar in hogsmead,and maybe death eaters come there in the movie...they change scenes arround a lot!

The only thing I can think of is that maybe it's a scene of Voldie and Death Eaters raiding people's houses, forcing/threatening/coercing people to side with them, and Harry's witnessing it through his dreams.

I think it is meant to be when Harry and Dumbledore go and visit Slughorn right in the beginning - I am so excited filming has started - a year or so until the movie comes out! I cannot wait to see some more pictures soon.
