W00t, first to post. Loved the article. Weird dances, Harry Potter like. How cool. |
The TANGO? Lol...I can't picture Neville... |

That would have been so funky, why did they cut it out? -Helen :flower: |
*shrug* Probably because of time. It also might've made the film-audience think N/G were a couple and well, we know that isn't true so maybe they didn't want to be misleading seeing as films are all about the visual. |

Oh well. They kept everything that was important the the book and the rest of the series so I shouldn't really complain!! Still would of been nice though! |

Well, I can't say I am exactly heart-broken at the lack of N/G, I was always kind of annoyed that Kloves decided to portray the night as one of sucsess for the couple. Especially since the book showed that it was actually fairly tragic, resulting in Ginny's feet getting stepped on several times. Although with Kloves other idea to 'show but not use' Ginny in his scripts it would have been nice to atleast give the girl some screen time. Anyway, just don't get me started on the man, now isn't the time or place. |
hehe cool like it ballroom has really taken off in a big way like strictly come dancing which is on tonight!!! (yay!) I love that photo of Harry and Parvati Harry looks a bit worried! |
So far I think we've seen Ginny twice -- in the dancing lessons scene and the "I'm not an owl" scene. She probably doesn't have lines in either but at least she's there! |

awww.man i wanted to see more of Ginny. |
LOL How could I have forgotten them? *headdesk* And in those two she HAS to speak (or at least scream!) Ginny is still fairly distant though in GoF, it's OotP where she really starts to come out of herself and hopefully they'll include that (if they know what's good for them!) |
very good article, loved it |
oh my god i'm nearly wetting myself with excitement, it's nearly here, i love all these interviews!!! I LOVE HARRY POTTER!!!!! |
Hope the Tango is in the deleted scenes.. It sounds like fun!! |
I am sorted disappointed that Yule Ball has so much formal dancing. I had it pictured more of a high school prom. So in my mind's eye I saw the kind of dancing you would see with rock music or slow dancing. Nothing like a waltz or tango crossed my mind. |
Great article! I really can't wait! |
Apparently it's not all formal. They do 'rock out' to the Weird Sisters remember ;) I don't think it's going to look too formal considering the kids aren't supposed to be excellent dancers and even Dan said he found it hard. At the same time they simply HAD to make it different from typical highschool dance but at the same distance from classical and turn it into its own. |
Sounds like the Yule Ball dancing is going to be great...I can't wait for it! It's a pity that the Ginny/Neville dancing scene will not be shown. :( That would\'ve been very cute. I hope they put Fred and Angelina dancing! In the book it said that they were exuberantly dancing or something...and people were like, backing off. That would be so hilarious to watch! But I kinda doubt they\'ll have it...if they do, I\'ll be very very happy! |
Aw thatz kool! I can\'t wait for the movie to come out! :jump: :jump: :jump: |
Well, we saw Fred ask her out in one of the clips so chances are we\'ll see them. |
what the nevile and ginny tango cut out aww that would have been fun adore the idea of sometime slightly twisted cool! |
Sounds wicked awesome!!!!! I CAN\'T WAIT!!!! as usual.OMG That would be wicked cool if they showed Angelina and FRed dancing! but if you think about it, they can\'t jsut show the trio and they are probably giong to show more people dancing. Wow I am SUPER EXCITED FOR THIS SCENE now!!!! |
Yikes! I was hoping to see more of Ginny actually...oh never mind-as long as they dont cut out Fred\'s asking Angelina and their "exhuberant" dancing im happy:rotfl:! N yeah im looking forward to see how Dan portrays a really nervous harry:evil: |
