| | |  German fan gets violent at HBP release
It is being reported that a German Potter fan ran amok and threatened to kill people while queuing for a copy of the German edition of the book (which was released on Saturday).
The man apparently took six copies and then ran off. Finding it difficult to carry them all he went into another shop and demanded a carrier bag. When told he was being rude, he punched a customer in the face. Quote:
"Suspect said he could not stand the suspense of not knowing who the half-blood prince was," a Hanover police spokesperson said.
"Suspect was informed that he will likely have plenty of time for reading long books in his jail cell."

Oh my god. That's ridiculous! Some people just need to learn to calm down. I mean there's a difference between anxious and crazy. I mean why would he bunch another customer because he was told the truth that he was being rude? And why did he take 6 copies? I mean wouldn't he only need one to find out who the HBP is?

My only question is...............if he couldnt wait to discover who the HBP was/is.....then why did he get 6 books? Would more books make him get the info faster? was there only one book that would give the info? Scary guy.

That was unnecessary. I mean we're all huge fans of Harry Potter, but it shouldn't go as far as hurting another person. The same thing happened when the Cabbage Patch dolls were all the rave. Except Harry Potter is and will forever be interesting. Still those actions were uncalled for.
