First photos of Jamie Campbell Bower as Caius in New Moon (UPDATED) The first photos of actor Jamie Campbell Bower (young Grindelwald in Deathly Hallows) from his upcoming feature New Moon have been released; the first is a studio shot of Jamie as his character Caius, a 3,300-year old vampire met by Robert Pattinson's (Cedric Diggory in Goblet of Fire) character Edward Cullen in Italy; the second is a photo of Caius and the Volturi (a group of ancient vampires in Italy). They can be seen below: http://www.snitchseeker.com/gallery/...mage1%7E39.jpg The movie opens on November 20th. UPDATE: Summit Entertainment has sent over a high-resolution still of Jamie with the Volturi, which can be seen here: |
Jamie is hot. But he looks funny there. :rotfl: :xd: |
That looks like the classic vampire-like charecter in books. Its pretty cool, too! |
1st to post. cool |
woah cool i cant wait to see new moon now yay |
well, 1st in a parallel universe :) |
Twilight Is Lame! Harry Potter Rules!!!!!!!!!!! I am joking around everyone. Twilight isn't lame. The books are very well written and I am looking forward to New Moon. However, I do believe that the Harry Potter series is much more entertaining. |
^ Have your opinion by all means, but let's not incite flame wars :) |
Hmmmm he looks a little......girly...... Yeah. Not a fan of the look. |

BTW- he does look odd with the talcum powdery makeup and slicked back hair, but he IS ancient after all....... ooh and Ashley Greene (Alice in Twilight and in the photo below went to a local high school here in town...) |
Wow. He looks very close to how I've imagined Caius. Also I saw the pictures of the rest of Volturi (including Jane aka Dakota Fanning) earlier today in a new moon fan website. I'm definetaly pleased by their cast choice. |
Yeah, I agree he is pale. Yet again, he is a vampire. lol |
Uhm. No. Sorry, Jamie, but just .. no. I was hoping it'd be the first pictures of his as Grindelwald! I'm excited for thaaaaaat! |
awesome. cant wait! *squee* |
he looks rather feminine.. :| but.. nonetheless i cant wait for the film... |
Caius Caius Caius! *looks at pictures* Ew ew ew. Sorry but I really don't think that's the look for Jamie. At all. |
He looks a little bit weird ... I think as Grindelwald he will be better |
grindelwald has to be a handsomer look than this...because Grindelwald is described as handsome in DH. I certainly dont recall Caius being described as good looking in the Meyer books....i read them too fast so i cannot recall! |
He looks a little....fake in that photo. As in not flesh and blood o_O It's kinda scary. But not for the right reasons  |
I can't lie...im pretty excited about New Moon. Caius is classically beautiful. He's more good looking than I thought he'd be. Loved Jamie in Sweeney Todd and can't to see him in DH2. I wish we'd get some production stills of that already!! |
I'm not sure how I feel about the blood, but it looks like they are trying to stay true to the book. I expected the skin to be a bit more pale, but the Volturi do look like what vampires are usually described to look like. To be completely honest, I was starting to think New Moon wasn't going to turn out that well, but seeing this maybe it wouldn't be that bad. We'll just have to see. |
Ooooo! They look scary >_< hahahahaha. It is not my first to see vampires. It is great Caius is taking in DH, i hope that he will be great, i am looking forward. |

But these photos look... awesome. :O I mean - I would read the books/watch the movies if I could stomach the way the romance plays out. And if the constant baseless comparisons to Harry Potter weren't so overwhelmingly irritating. And if there were more vampires like this. lol Michael Sheen. Nooooo now I want to see this movie -- |
he looks creepy as hell! very vampire like |
