An 11 year old boy named Taylor Triphook has been cast in Half-Blood Prince mysteriously in a role which Warner Brothers are keeping secret.  Quote:

I would think he would be Riddle from the Orphanage or one of the kids he terrorized. I don't think we get a look at any other children until he is older at Hogwarts. If he is Eleven and filming would be six months it would seem that he would be Young Tom.

If you just look at his face, you could see a younger Tom Riddle in there. Of course they'll dye his hair (if that is the character he'll be playing). And he does kind of look like Colin Creevey but there's nothing really mentioned about Colin in the HBP. Plus, his younger brother came in the third book. My money's on young Tom Riddle.

I guess I need to re-read HBP because I seriously cant remember any other character this little boy could play that wouldnt be Tom Riddle but I seriously doubt it. He look to young to play Riddle but he must be a major character if he has to take six months to do his part...ugh now im seriously confused!

I think he might be Ritchie Coote in the book he is one of the beaters for the Gryffindor team and they described him as weedy. I don't think he can pull of a cruel look needed for Tom Riddle. It would be like Rupert playing Malfoy, it just wouldn't work. I don't think it's Cormac either I thought he was a sixth year like the trio. He looks too young for someone to make Ron jealous with.
Who knows he might be someone in the Slug Club too.
