The official Pottermore Insider blog revealed that Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets may open very soon, though more details will be revealed next week.  Quote:
We’re excited to announce that the first chapters of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets are coming very soon to Pottermore.
We will reveal more about this next week here on the Pottermore Insider, as well as the Pottermore Gateway and the new Pottermore house noticeboards.
The blog, which announced that the House Cup will take place this Thursday, July 5, updated with which chapters were recently worked on for the second installment of the series on J.K. Rowling's interactive website. Quote: Monday 25 June

i dunno Jess, even if one house gets to see COS ahead, then whats the value of the secret bonus once all the other houses sees it? surely they're not gonna make the other houses wait for too long while one house frolics in COS early. i mean really, does Pottermore need any more reasons to chase away what little of the fans are left still caring about the site?  | |

Yeah, just saying it will open 'soon' isn't exactly helpful. Plus, they said only the first few chapters will be open. I'd rather they put the whole book up at once so I don't have to get halfway through then stop.

I must admit, I'm extremely disappointed in Pottermore, I feel like they should have done more to begin with before opening the site up to anyone, because now for me it's just a repeated waiting game.
Even if/when they put up CoS, I'll finish that and then have to wait another year if not more untill they open PoA. I know it's a lot of work, and what I have seen is cool, but it's just taking by far too long to see everything. I know a ton of people who have lost interest already.
