Filming wrap up at Virgina Waters -

Summary:

Article:

MuggleNet reader Sidrah visited the set on the last day of filming, and sent in a report of what she saw:

Walking up the road, we didn't see much other than a few trailers and a big, golden horse being taken care of by a crew member. We asked him what was going on, and he told us that they were shooting the third Harry Potter movie. (Big surprise there!) We moved on and came across a big opening between the two green wire fences they had set up. We asked the guard if we could go in, but we weren't allowed. He said that the only actors there today were Crabbe and Goyle and the extras. We stood and watched for a minute as they finished their scenes, then all the extras, including Crabbe and Goyle, left for their lunch break. The stand-in horse for Buckbeak was taken away and the crew started taking down all the equipment. We walked a bit further and saw a rack with a bunch of Hogwarts robes on it and some of the crew members coats. We then went back to the security guard and decided to pester him with a few more questions. He told us that Daniel, Rupert and Emma were really nice people. Daniel was really kind, he said. and Rupert was a very talkative, friendly person. During his breaks, Rupert used to come down and talk to the fans and the guard, and he pointed out to us where the monster books were that Hagrid gave the kids. There weren't a lot of people there today, as the actors weren't there, but the guard told us that Tom Felton would return to the studio next week. The crew is packing up now, and will leave by tonight.

:o I would love  to go to the set even if Dan, Rupert, Emma, Tom, or and of the other acters wheren't there. I'm just saying that being able to see the set and talking to a gard would be super cool. To bad I live in the U.S. and that will most likely never happen. > I whish I lived way closer. Oh well. :sorcerer:

I went to Virginia Waters last year. When they said that they were filming there, I only remembered I knew where it was and had been there after they had stopped filming. Its a really nice place, with loads of gardens and little lakes and streams. I think it's about a hours drive from my house. Stupid me!
