'Fantastic Beasts' sequel UK premiere tickets already up for grabs in new DVD contest
Although production for the second Fantastic Beasts movie has not begun yet, Warner Bros. is already giving away tickets to the U.K. premiere for the sequel, set for theatrical release on November 16, 2018.
The giveaway is part of Warner Bros. UK's Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them DVD and Blu-ray release this coming week, where fans around England and Scotland must take part in a scavenger hunt starting Monday to find special copies of the home video set. For more on the contest, take a listen to actor Dan Fogler, who plays everyone's favorite No-Maj Jacob Kowalski in the movie series.
Fantastic Beasts 2, which currently has no official title yet (though J.K. Rowling confirmed they are currently finalizing it), begins production this August, with returning cast Fogler, Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller, Zoe Kravitz, and Johnny Depp.
It reminded me of the movie "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory", when Wonka announces a contest whereby children that find Golden Tickets hidden in five Wonka bars will be given a tour of the factory and one a chance to be presented with an unknown grand prize. Unfortunately I'm a "Charlie" who doesn't live in UK and, no matter how much I'd love to be there next year, I'm not going to find my Golden Ticket...
