Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will begin to film in Liverpool very soon, reported the Liverpool Echo on Monday. The northern England area will be the only place production will take place outside of Leavesden Studios, home of the
Harry Potter series.
Key filming will take place at St. George's Hall, shrouded under mass black to cover up production from the public, as shown in the image below.

Producer David Heyman commented on filming in Liverpool.
Quote:
“We are thrilled to be bringing Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them to Liverpool, a city which has such fond memories for me.
“My mother is from Liverpool and, as a child, we would often visit family there.
“The architecture in this beautiful city works perfectly for our film, set in 1920s New York, and I know we will receive a very warm welcome.”
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them's first installment, written by J.K. Rowling and starring Eddie Redmayne, will hit theaters in November 2016.
