Post Exclusive video: Freddie Stroma talks Cormac McLaggen role in Deathly Hallows I & II

Over the weekend, SnitchSeeker caught up with actor Freddie Stroma on the red carpet at the premiere of his new play Cinderella, where he discussed what he thought of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1, his role as Cormac McLaggen in Part 1 and Part 2, and plans for future projects outside the film series. Photos from the event can found here.

Quote:
SnitchSeeker: Did you come to L.A. because of the play and are you leaving after its run?
Freddie:
I will be going home to Switzerland afterwards for Christmas, yes.

SnitchSeeker: Do you have any other projects lined up that fans can look forward to?
Freddie:
Not really any that are concrete that I can say. Not at the moment. Hopefully soon.

Snitchseeker: When did you see Deathly Hallows – Part 1?
Freddie:
I saw Deathly Hallows at a BAFTA screening. I saw it a few weeks ago - really liked it. It’s really good.

SnitchSeeker: In Deathly Hallows – Part 2 will you be in the Room of Requirement with the D.A. or in the final battle?
Freddie:
No, I’m a little bit maybe in a battle scene. Similar to Part 1, I’m not really there, but I’m in the background somewhere.

SnitchSeeker: Did you get to work with Ralph Fiennes?
Freddie:
No I never did, which is a shame because I love him. But I never got to work with him.
You can read our review of Cinderella here.

Additionally, Freddie and the cast from the show attended a tree lighting ceremony earlier this month at The Americana at Brand. We’ve got photos from the event here in our galleries.

Cinderella is playing now through Sunday, December 19, at the El Portal Theatre. Click here for tickets or more information.

I agree. It will be interesting to see the DVD and see if any additional scenes have him in there.
