We have pictures of a Tales of Beedle the Bard publicity display now at Waterstone's book shops. All 3 can be seen in their full size here.   
According to an employee, there are no current plans for midnight release parties, however that may change nearer the time, depending on demand.

The book releases on December 4th.

december is a while away!! but if you think about it, july 2009 is even longer, so we have a book to look forward to before the movie!! witch sucks a bit, cuz i always told myself "the movie in november makes december worth the wait" but NO!!! the movie had to be moved!! so, atleast of have december..

I ordered mine as soon as Amazon made the announcement, and i am very excited for December, feels like forever away, the same as HBP.
