Exclusive: Moaning Myrtle not in Half-Blood Prince
A few days ago we got in touch with Hamilton Hodell, the agency that represents Shirley Henderson, who plays Moaning Myrtle in the Harry Potter films. It has been confirmed to us that the character hasn't made it into Half-Blood Prince.

Hate to see so many characters cut that were in the book, but what can you do? We know the filmmakers always have a tendency to do this. It's sad, but just the way it is. This is why the books are so much better than the films! (Not to say that the films are not worth seeing, they are. But you know what I mean!)
I agree with you!! I hope they do a better job with DH.
once again they change the movie thats why i dont like David Yates he always changes everything what about all the scenes that were suppossed to be in ootp?

abt moanin myrtle...well i think that evn if she IS removd...she had no gr8 part 2 play....it can b shown that harry found draco himself
was she in the book? i dont remeber right off hand, but i can say if she had a major role in it or not.

so yeah SHE'S not that important, but im still gonna miss her
as long as they still have that scene. thats like THEE biggest moment..half blood prince moment!
and someone said that scenes gonna be in there, so its all good.
Since MM was the one who told Harry about Draco's crying in the bathroom, I wonder how the information that Draco isn't progressing with his Dark Lord assigned task will be told to Harry.

WHAT??? Whys that? I mean, draco cries to her and that is IMPORTANT. Hello??? A Malfoy cries -he actually cries. and he does not crie to a deserted toilet!!! and moaning myrtle mentions that draco is a sensitive boy that is IMPORTANT TOO. why does nobody care about draco's scenes??? :-( :-(
