| | |  'Equus' photoshoot images - UPDATED
The Evening Standard has run an article on Equus which includes two photos of Dan.
This photoshoot marks the first time the play's staff first saw Dan in the nude.
According to Producer David Pugh: Quote:
We had never seen him with his clothes off before. We all went 'wow.' Thea (the director) went 'Oh my God.'
For her there was a certain relief. When we did the audition we never thought to say, 'Would you go naked for us?' We were so overwhelmed with his talent that we set that aside.
There was no hesitancy about taking off his clothes.
He has a confidence in his own appearance. With the performances that I've witnessed, when that boy takes his shirt off, Harry Potter has flown out of Hogwarts for good.
The photoshoot took place in a hangar near Heathrow and, although it includes a horse, there is no real horse involved with the stage production.
The article also mentions that Dan has been taking voice lessons weekly for a year to prepare for his stage debut. UPDATE: Some images have been removed from SnitchSeeker.com's gallery (they're inappropriate for SS), but can be seen at DR.co.uk and DR.com with our warning that they are of mature content.

I don't know why people are fussing about Dan's... erm, lack of clothing in the pics and that he could do non-HP roles with his clothes on. The role in Equus seems to be the right one for Dan to break the HP mold and it would've been a good role for him to play, even if it didn't require nudity. I think the nudity will show the character's vulnerability and not be gratuitous.
And didn't Rupert Grint have a semi-nude scene in Driving Lessons before Dan agreed to do Equus? I'm just saying that...
Still, these photos make me feel self-conscious and somewhat dirty... maybe I should work out too. *runs off*

Man, looking at these pics, they are amazing, Dan has really grown up, but I just can't cling to the fact that the guy in the pictures was that same little boy when we first saw him say - "I'm Harry, Harry Potter". Even though Dan is doing, I guess, more mature roles, I still think of him as that adorable little boy in Sorceror's Stone. Same thing when I saw Rupert Grint in Driving Lessons. Well, I'm glad that Dan is playing other roles, showing people that he is not just Harry Potter. Go Dan!

Wow there seems to be a lot of negativity on this site! I take back what i said previously - he is sexy- very sexy in fact! Wow - what a body! If he's not afraid to go nude, then he's obviously not lacking in any areas! Yum!
Can I just add that you must go to Dan radcliffe.com and see the one of him in his jeans - that one is definitely the best - though it does look a little like a calendar shot!
