The Evening Standard has run an article on Equus which includes two photos of Dan.
This photoshoot marks the first time the play's staff first saw Dan in the nude.
According to Producer David Pugh: Quote:
We had never seen him with his clothes off before. We all went 'wow.' Thea (the director) went 'Oh my God.'
For her there was a certain relief. When we did the audition we never thought to say, 'Would you go naked for us?' We were so overwhelmed with his talent that we set that aside.
There was no hesitancy about taking off his clothes.
He has a confidence in his own appearance. With the performances that I've witnessed, when that boy takes his shirt off, Harry Potter has flown out of Hogwarts for good.
The photoshoot took place in a hangar near Heathrow and, although it includes a horse, there is no real horse involved with the stage production.
The article also mentions that Dan has been taking voice lessons weekly for a year to prepare for his stage debut. I'm not a fan of the one with the female actress. She looks beautiful but I don't think it is very flattering for Dan. The photo with the horse is absolutely amazing. I commend him on his confidence and think this play will be a wonderful step in the adult direction of his career post-Potter!
All though he could use a tan... perhaps a spray-on...

Dan is closer to 18 than 17. He is not a boy or child. Most guys have stomach hair by his age. I am only a few months older than he and I do. I think the director said it all. He did his job at the photo shoot and that is what they are paying him for. They didn't hire Harry Potter, they hire Dan the actor and he is of age in Britian to play this role even the nude scenes. Euporean morals are different than the US.

 WOW... i have no idea what to say...umm... i cant think of anything rated G to say... well he looks very hot..but the hair in his stomach is kinda nasty.
its wierd to see our beloved harry potter naked..but i guess dan had to grow up so i guess here is the proof of that....god cant think of anything to say so ill leave it here

Who did this photoshoot? They were not tastefully done at all. I loved, loved the poster where they showed his body merging with the horse. That was tasteful and exciting. As someone else said, this look like he's posing for a cheap romance novel. That said, I'm glad Dan is so dedicated to this project and everything works out for him.  | |

So pretty much the Producer is more interested in seeing Dan naked than his ability to act? like I wouldn't be comfortable going on stage naked if I had a bazillion fangirls saying "Otty's so Hotty!!!!!!!!!!!11111111" *Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeedies*  And in other related news they had to put Barbaro down ...  seems he couldn't take the strain of not having gotten the part ...
