you know that she's going to be a great actress

RHShipper 09-13-2005 06:05 AM

I don't want Emma to put herself into the character, I want her to be Hermione. If Rupert can be Ron, and Dan can be Harry, then she should be Hermione. That is like Rene Zellweger deciding not to use an english accent as Bridget Jonas. Is she still Bridget? Well yeah, but "Bridget Jones Comes Home To Texas." What am I talking about! I'm a little off tonight. Working on the analogies here. So what will Hermione do next? Maybe she will wear braces and then record a pop album.

She sounds grounded in this interview. Although I've never been staisfied with the way she portrayed Hermione (she's okay, not just what I had in my head), I think she could be a good actor. And she's absolutely beautiful. I wanna see her in other films! :D

I definately agree with you. I just want Emma to act as Hermione, not create Emmione. Is that too much to ask?

I think Dan will have the biggest problem with stereotyping, not her. She's a pretty girl who will probably continue acting at least a little while after HP.

Raazia 09-13-2005 09:24 AM

hmm she's quite mature...and yah....sweet...
i feel kinda sorry for her....but i hope that ppl do know her for Emma Watson...instead of Hermoine Granger......:)

cutestar 09-13-2005 11:26 AM

I've alredy read this interview in the papers. My dad showed it to me he was like 'she's a smart thing' :P Well, I like her interview though. She sounds really natural.

Kurisuchiina 09-13-2005 12:16 PM

Acting Hermione or not, stereotyping is common in today's society for everybody.

Kazters 09-13-2005 12:23 PM

OMG it actualy says she may be emerging as the star of the TRIO err i htink not i have two words for that Rupert Grint!

alyssa_hilary 09-13-2005 01:13 PM

Great interview

allucha 09-13-2005 02:36 PM

A part in ruining her, more like.

HOGWARTSCHICFOREVER 09-13-2005 06:38 PM

well i can see her point. I would get bored of acting out the same thing for four years in a row. I would lose my mind.

dagger 09-13-2005 07:58 PM

Most people's fear is being stereotyped! She isnt the only one though i do understand how she is planning ahead her life..

Ronald 09-13-2005 08:33 PM

in my eyes she is the best hermione ever i can't imagine anyone stereotyping here

Ilovegeorgeweasely 09-13-2005 09:17 PM

that girl has her head screwed on right she is so level headed for someone so young.
I'm sure she will do well in what ever she does after hp however it's hardly supriseing thats what she is scared of because she's in a massively successful series of films like hp!

firewhiskey89 09-13-2005 09:47 PM

She sounds so normal!!!! Yeyey!!!

Now if we can just (officially) secure Rupert
He's already said he wants to do all the films. All 3 kids have now expressed a desire to stay.

Melissapetey31 09-13-2005 10:38 PM

Hmmmm....I hate that to!

death_faerie 09-13-2005 11:34 PM

She seems to have a good head on her...nice interview...

Wonderstruck 09-13-2005 11:59 PM

Well that is a shame about her swearing, but you know so many people swear these days, that it's not uncommon for people to swear. I mean I don't think that she was trying to sound bad when she was saying that, I think she was just more enthusiastic. I don't know though. I mean people swear, and personally I don't prefer it, but I won't dislike her for it. A lot of my good friends swear and I still like them all the same.

MoviegoerKinz 09-14-2005 12:19 AM

then do more roles!!! that's what dan and rupert are doing! and do it now b4 it's too late!!!

Hermione J. Potter 09-14-2005 01:25 AM

wow really interesting. come on teenagers are bound to swear sometimes! HECK i do alot!! lol good to know about this
