| | |  Emma Watson considered for Shark Attack role
In an article by Time, Emma Watson is stated as being considered for the lead role in a film based on the story of Bethany Hamilton, a now 16 year old, homeschooled entrepreneur, who was attacked by a shark in Hawaii while surfing in 2003. Hamilton lost her arm in the attack. The movie is based on Hamilton's autobiography, Soul Surfer.
Emma has not been set in the role. As of right now, she's only being considered. Other candidates for the role include Jamie Lynn Spears.
Filming is set to begin in the fall, which would clash with filming for ' Order of the Phoenix' which isn't due to end until October/November. | |

Jamie Lynn Spears looks a whole lot more like Bethany Hamilton, but Emma Watson is a far better actress in my opinion over Jamie Lynn Spears, so I'm all for Emma playing this role.

I can't see Emma in that roll. I don't know if I want her to portray Bethany, but if it helps her career then go for it.

Honestly, I think Emma wouldn't do a very good job if she got the role. Although, she might. But theres many things she'd have to change, and a lot of stress/pressure. Like, her hair, her accent. I got news for every1 who thinks emma's gonna get the part; she won't!!! If she's competing against Jamie, she's gonna lose becuz Jamie looks like that surfer. and Jamie doesn't have an accent. Duh, its only common sense.

I read this and it sounds great, it would be nice for Emma to be in another movie but if dan and rupert can play a part in another movie while fi,ming OOTP then im sure Emma could do it to. But Spears needs to be in a movie it would be cool to see one of them to get the part i just dont want OOTP to get in the way. But best of Luck to Both Emma and Jamie.. and yes i agree with everyone

Well... i don't think it's a very good idea,  like Ottery said, it's not a very smart choice... but whatever!
Even though I don't like Jaymie Spears, I think she'll be better for the job considering the kind of acting she does. It wouln't be good for Emma!
