Fantastic Beasts' series star Eddie Redmayne was spotted this week at a local pub in Wiltshire, England - which happens to be the area Lacock Abbey is found. Lacock Abbey was the on-location set used for Hogwarts corridors exteriors in the
Harry Potter series, and is reportedly now
rumored to be rented out once again, but for the second film in the
Fantastic Beasts saga.
Between this confirmation (as noted by the quote from the pub's owner below), the exterior trailer photo of costars Zoe Kravitz (Leta Lestrange) and Callum Turner (Theseus Scamander) on set this week, and J.K. Rowling's
own Twitter update from what looks like an outdoors set, it can be safe to assume that indeed there are Hogwarts-related scenes being shot for
Fantastic Beasts 2.

"He was such a charmer and happily chatted to the locals. He is currently filming the next installment of Harry Potter spin-off in various Wiltshire locations."
No word yet on what Hogwarts scenes are being shot for the second installment, but it could correlate with the casting of young and Hogwarts-aged Newt and Leta earlier this year.
The following plot details were released by Warner Bros. about the second installment, which hits theaters and IMAX in November 2018.
Quote:
J.K. Rowling wrote the screenplay for the film, which opens in 1927, a few months after Newt helped to unveil and capture the infamous Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald. However, as he promised he would, Grindelwald has made a dramatic escape and has been gathering more followers to his cause—elevating wizards above all non-magical beings.
The only one who might be able to stop him is the wizard he once called his dearest friend, Albus Dumbledore. But Dumbledore will need help from the wizard who had thwarted Grindelwald once before, his former student Newt Scamander. The adventure reunites Newt with Tina, Queenie and Jacob, but his mission will also test their loyalties as they face new perils in an increasingly dangerous and divided wizarding world.
The starring cast for
Fantastic Beasts 2 includes Redmayne, Turner, and Kravitz with Katherine Waterston (Tina Goldstein), Alison Sudol (Queenie Goldstein), Dan Fogler (Jacob Kowalski), Ezra Miller (Credence Barebone), Johnny Depp (Gellert Grindelwald), Kevin Guthrie (Abernathy), and Jude Law (Albus Dumbeldore).
