Hee hee...I'd be able to watch it. Must have a lot of language to have such a high rating, though. Hmm.

That's weird that if you aren't a certain age you can't go see a movie. In the US you they're only guidelines up to R and NC-17...in that case you either have to be w/a parent, have parental permission (in some places) or be either 17 or 18 (for R and NC-17 respectively).
It sounds like a cool film, though, so I hope it comes out in the US. I don't see why it wouldn't, but heh...whatever.

The US will get a rating of R for sure. But I won't worry too much. Unless you have strict parents, you usually you can see rated R movies as long as you're accompanied by an adult. I'm not sure how the UK works in those situations, though. But it was cited that the problem with the movie was over-use of language. I was suprirsed, but I think they are probably fearing that many young people will see it because it's Ron Weasley, so they probably wanted to caution people. Which is understandable.
As for the release date... I've said it a thousand times and I'll say it again, they are targeted for a late 2006 release which most likely means between September and December. And also the US... it was shown at Tribeca strictly for a US distributor and most likely they will get it. It's just a matter of when we'll hear about it, but you can be sure that ICM will be the first to know. |

The only restriction that allows someone underage to watch a film with an adult is 12A. Otherwise, 12, 15 and 18 mean exactly that; you must be those ages or above to see the film and if you're not, then you're not getting in. Regardless of whether you're with an adult or not. I mean, it wouldn't be ethical to let a 10 year old into a 15 rated film just because they're with mum or dad, you know?

When I was actually around that age, I got in to see A Few Good Men because my parents and thier friends wanted to see it while I was with them. And my friend's daughter wanted to see 'Saw 2' and got to because my friend's live-in boyfriend went up to the theatre with them just so they could see it.
