| | |  Dissendium Announces Triwizard Captains
The voting was furious this past week with webmasters vying to become captains of the three schools in Dissendium's Triwizard Tournament. Websites were nominated for the position and the ten sites with the most nominations competed for the three captain spots.
I am proud to announce that Snitchseeker came in fifth in the voting and I'll be the Assistant Captain for Beauxbatons beside Captain Melissa from The Leaky Cauldron. The other captains are Emerson from Mugglenet for Durmstrang and Jeff from HPANA for Hogwarts.
While enrollment in the tournament is technically closed, as one of the captaining sites, we have a special code you can use in order to sign up. (The special code is: SNITCHSEEKER)
For those of you that have enrolled already, you can now be sorted and head on over to your school's interactive common room. Hope to see you there! Note: If you're having trouble with seeing just a black screen for the sorting, try this:
Open the window. It will turn black.
Right click and choose “settings”
A little box will appear—ignore it
Right click again and choose “play”
The sorting hat will finally come to life for you.
Hit “close” on the little gray box that is hiding the sorting hat
Answer the questions and ta-da! You have been sorted!

I can't even get the site to come up...I tried at midnight last night, and it was not up yet..then I tried to get sorted about 1100am...but the hat never did anything...so I am going to keep trying....Congrats to Snitchseeker and to Kris......

Yeah, they are having a lot of site difficulties, probably due to the sheer amount of traffic they are getting from the six sites who were voted in as captains or assistant captains. Be patient and if you're getting really frustrated, maybe even try again tomorrow.

I've been trying to get onto the site for a couple hours, but it's too busy. I do hope that the sorting lasts a while, maybe a week or something, because if it doesn't that would be a little ridiculous. If they're having so much traffic for the sorting, just think what the Tasks will be like. Hopefully those stay open for a whiel as well. If everyone has to do them the same day, I'll bet that over half of those registered don't even get on the site. They have to have anticipated this much interest, just from the people that registered. I'm sure that they've probably made all the accomidations that they can for the moment and hopefully are already thinking ahead to to times of the Tasks.
Also, I voted for SS. Glad to see you got Assistant Captain at least  | |

Congrats on being part of the Tournament!! I voted on you also!! I love SS because there is so much to do here...only thing is that I have not been on here for too long but I enjoy the sight very much!! I am still trying to get sorted myself. This morning I got as far as the black screen and I thought that something was wrong with my computer until I saw that others were getting the same screen. Now I am here at work with faster computers and I still cannot get sorted, but I will be here for a few hours....good luck everyone!!!
