Deathly Hallows: Part I collector's box soundtrack to feature 6 exclusive tracks
WaterTower Music, the company behind soundtracks and scores for features released by Warner Bros., have launched the official page of the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I original motion picture soundtrack, composed by Alexandre Desplat. Included on the page are the 30-second teasers for the 26 tracks to be released on the soundtrack, and the first reveal of six extra songs to featured on bonus track of the collector's edition box. The six songs are:
Voldemort
Grimmauld Place
The Dumbledores
The Tale of the Three Brothers
Bellatrix
My Love is Always Here
The deluxe digital album of the soundtrack will also release three extra tracks outside of the 26 original; Warner Bros. have not released their names - or if they are three of the six from the collector's set, but we are currently inquiring and will update when possible.
Quote:
Desplat composed the captivating score, which was recorded by the London Symphony Orchestra at the famed Abbey Road Studios. “I’m thrilled to be involved with the magical world of Harry Potter,” declared the composer. “It’s an extraordinary story of extraordinary people, which allows me to play with a world of extraordinary sounds.”
Samples of the regular soundtrack can be heard here.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be released November 19, 2010, and July 15, 2011. Click on the banner below to pre-order tickets for Part I at Fandango. Tickets are also on sale now in the UK; head over to the Harry Potter official UK Facebook for more information.

Sigh, could you not tell people to boycott the movie based on some unfounded information? Let the fans judge for themselves once the soundtrack and film are released. And please do not link to any place/url you think may contain the soundtrack; that would be illegal (not that it would matter, as it hasn't been released anyway).

Boycott this movie?? Are you insane?? (she asks semi jokingly )
I think I'd seen a trailer bit about the soundtrack and it's new musical director. Nothing wrong with changing it up a bit for the final bits. What I heard in that trailer so far was amazing great stuff too! Give it a chance Open your mind to new and possibly wonderful things.
The new samples from the official site for the soundtrack are AWESOME!
Sky Battle, Ron Leaves, Bathilda Bagshot, Destroying the Locket, Ron's Speech, Farewell to Dobby, The Elder Wand are just outstanding!
I wouldn't worry about not hearing "Hedwig's Theme". I'm sure it's in there. Patrick Doyle and Nicholas Cooper only used it only two times in each of their scores.
if i see the title ond dont hear hedwigs theme in the backgorund im wlaking out of the theater
What's your deal ? if you don't like the soundtrack then stop making supid comments about . Don't buy the soundtrack . Don't watch the movie . Who cares what you do , the rest of us are pretty toasty about it so let us BE!
For all those worrying, Hedwig's Theme will always remain relevant to the Potter series so hints of it are there in the films that don't have John Williams as the composer. If you notice, GOF had it, OOTP had it, and HBP had it as well. It's just one of those things that's part of the series...it would be like a Harry Potter series without Harry Potter, himself. So when DH comes along, I'm more than sure they'll have a glimpse of it at the beginning so there's no need to freak out. If not, it's Desplat's loss, not ours.
Anyways, I'm dying to hear the exclusive tracks after hearing the main ones a few days ago. WB, we know it's going to be amazing so why do you have to tease us with bits of the pieces and then cut if off when it gets good? I'm seriously considering buying the collector's edition soundtrack just to hear, "My Love Is Always Here." It sounds like something that got pulled out of Titanic rather than Harry Potter. So many possibilities who that piece could be about...

i wont post links but ive heard the entire first track of the sound track it has no trace of hedwigs theme which means it will not accompany the WB logo which is all that matters to me its in the film but its not in the opening tradtion has been broken

Calm down and don't be silly. Just wait for the film and then judge. If you're a Harry Potter fan you won't go around telling people to boycott the movie. Anyway, there's a hell of a lot more to Harry Potter than Hegwig's Theme. Yes it would be nice to hear it but there are a thousand other things to look forward to.
