Well. It was quite a disappointment, but at least they get 3 nominations in The Academy Awards. Will they get a special tribute though for 10 years of Harry Potter?

I was really hoping HP could get nominated for some bigger awards. I wish they did, but I'm hoping they'll get the ones there nominated for.

*blinks* should we have expected anything else from the Academy? really?
the one time they will? ever acknowledged a genre film was LOTR. Star Wars came close, but the public had to wait nearly 30 years for LOTR to break through the glass ceiling. if i thought like an old foggy like the majority of the Academy voters, i'd say the Academy has paid its dues to the genre film category with LOTR and that fans past and future should satisfy themselves with that.
in any case, HP should sweep the People's Choice Awards and/or the MTV Movie Awards. lately those are the only awards show that matters to the public anyway |
