Nominations were announced for the 2012 Jameson Empire Awards, where Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 and two of its stars - Daniel Radcliffe and Bonnie Wright - received recognition. Also nominated was Harry Potter actor and Oscar-nominee Gary Oldman for Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. Fans around the world can vote right here; the ceremony will take place in London on Sunday, March 25, 2012. Voting ends a week from today, Monday, March 12, 2012, so get them in quickly.  Best Film

I'm glad to see Potter get nominated of course, but this has me scratching my head: Best Female Newcomer: Bonnie Wright. Hasn't she been around for the last 10 years, and wasn't her role in Half Blood Prince much more prominent than Deathly Hallows Part 2?  |

I wouldn't call Elle Fanning a newcomer either. But perhaps Super 8 and Deathly Hallows 2 is when the public first started really noticing them. No one really knew Bonnie and Elle as children, as the trio and Dakota were more famous.
I found Bonnie's role in DH2 far better than what she was given in HBP. I really hated how they wrote Ginny in HBP.

That Felicity Jones has been around for a while as well. So I think it's the films that got them more noticed/those who are actually newcomers. Also should add I also agree DH Part 2 was sooooo much better with Ginny compared how they wrote her in HBP.
