In an interview with the Belfast Telegraph to promote his new film, Basic Instinct 2, David Thewlis briefly mentioned ' Order of the Phoenix'. Quote:
Thewlis has at least two more Harry Potter films coming, a prospect that fills him with almost childlike glee. "I'm really glad I'm going to see everybody again, and it'll be weird to see the kids grown up. I'm not sure how they're going to make the other films, it would be a shame not to have the same actors, but Rupert [Grint, playing ginger Ron] is going to be married with kids or something by the end."

i agree with what david said; the trio are growing up but i don't think ill watch the rest of the movies if they aren't in them. emma dan and rupert have made harry potter what it is and they only have 2 more films 2 shoot after OOTP so why bother changing?

I so agrew with you daniel_radcliffe_fan_4eva.....
I can honestly say I do not see the problem with them filming the rest of the movies with the same actors. If they replace them now can any one honestly say they would ever like them? I mean changing the characters now would screw up the whole Harry Potter world they have going it just wouldnt be the same at all! I understand that they are getting older and such but you only have 3 more movies to go and there are a lot of movies out there where adults do play teenage roles. If we can have adults playing younger roles I dont see the problem with the trio finishing out the films unless its something they dont wish to do anymore and thats a whole different story. As for David I am very happy to know he is back he plays the role so well and he makes you fall in love with Lupin all over again!

i really hope they don't get new actors. it seems much more realistic if they have the same ones. besides, emma is only a year older than hermione, and dan is only 2 years older- it's not like they look ALOT older. Rupert is much older, but he looks kind of young.
i'de probably still see the movie if they changed it, but i'd rather they didn't

maybe they will need rupert's kids for shooting the last movie??  y'know, like JKR said, she would tell us how the characters will live after the last chapter (battle? defeat of voldy?)

I'm so glad he's back as Lupin. As for replacing the actors we know that's not going to happen. Dan, Emma, and Rupert can be 20 and be able to portray 17/18 yr olds. The audience wouldn't be able to tell. You know David Heyman and WB have thought this out since once OOTP is done they're going to take a short break and then back right away to film HBP.
