I agree completely. Yates isn't that good at keeping the story of Potter interesting enough to watch onscreen. I get bored watching the film at certain parts, even when watching it for the first time, because he doesn't seem to understand how to link the story and the audience together. I've only seen HBP twice and that was enough for me whereas with the first four I can watch a million times and still love every moment. I think he's a medicore director at best. That's just my opinion, of course. I'm sure there are others that like him.

As far as 3D, I'm not exactly going crazy over it. I mean 2D is pretty clear in terms of visuals too today. However, it sounds intersting enough so I may see what the fuss is all about.

Please tell me that some movie theaters will give u the opinion of seeing it in 2D. I mean I saw Alice and Wonderlandin 2D and I didn't think you'd need 2 see it in 3D. Hmmm Maybe that was because the screens at one of the theaters where I live was in XD

I saw Avatar in 3D and regular. I can't say the the 3D was significantly more realistic or anything. Especially, not considering it was twice the cost of a regular ticket. So I might pass on the 3D unless the ratings for the 3D are out the roof or my seriously addicted film buff friends tell me it's the only way to go.

All 3D films come with a 2D alternative.
