Post Daniel Radcliffe says he plans to read 'Cursed Child' script book before seeing plays

While promoting the release of his new movie Imperium (in which he gives a fantastic and rather startling performance as an FBI agent going undercover as a neo-Nazi), Daniel Radcliffe admitted that he's definitely more eager to read the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child script book than seeing the production itself.

The star of the Harry Potter series told CBS This Morning that somewhere down the line he hopes to see the plays, when there's a chance of him not being recognised in the crowd. That can be seen here.

Before we talk about this movie, can you get tickets to that Harry Potter play?
Daniel Radcliffe:
I was just said to someone else that I can not hook you up, I do not have any connection. For £15,000, that seems a little steep.

Would you want to go see it, Daniel?
Dan:
I would - I'll probably read it, as a book, since the script's just come out. I think sitting in that audience might be a slightly intense experience. If it calms down, at any point, I will.
Do note that Dan said not long ago that he would consider returning to play Harry Potter if the script was right, and perhaps it may happen once he reads the Cursed Child script. Warner Bros. could adapt Cursed Child to the big screen a few years down the line, and is rumored to do so after the completion of the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them movies.

Two more interviews with Dan to promote Imperium's release this Friday in the U.S. can be seen here.

Order the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child script book hardcover on Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk and WBShop now.
