Daniel Radcliffe will return to the Broadway stage this fall in a limited run of the play
The Lifespan of a Fact at Studio 54 in New York City. He'll be joined by Tony award winner Cherry Jones and nominee Bobby Cannavale.
A synopsis of the play is as follows.
Quote:
The play is based on the essay written about the Las Vegas suicide of teenager Levi Presley. Jim Fingal, assigned to fact check the piece, ignited a seven-year debate on the blurred lines of what passes for truth in literary nonfiction.
Radcliffe will play Fingal, whose job it is to fact check articles for one of the best magazines in the country. Fingal’s boss, played by Jones, has given him an assignment: Apply his skill to a groundbreaking piece by legendary author John D’Agata, played by Cannavale. And now, Fingal has a huge problem: John made up the majority of his article.
The 16-week limited engagement will begin previews September 20 prior to an official opening October 18, 2018.
