Daniel Radcliffe may have clinched his newest film project - a crime drama called
Beast of Burden, in which he would play a diabolical drug dealer. The film is reportedly in pre-production right now and has no start date. The movie will be helmed by Swedish director Jesper Ganslandt.
A short synopsis of the feature can be read here.
Quote:
The film focuses on Sean Haggerty (Radcliffe), a character who’s used to lying and keeping secrets from everyone, including the feds, the cartel, and even his wife, Julie. But now he’s ready to get out of this illegal business — after he finishes carrying 55 pounds of cocaine across the border in a small aircraft. Provided he can survive when he lands, of course.
Dan's next confirmed project is the London stage production of
Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, which begins previews in February. No word yet on if the
Harry Potter actor would film
Beast of Burden - if confirmed - before or after the play's run.
The actor recently also stated that he will be executive producer - for the first time - for the upcoming documentary Circus Kid, which was produced by his former Equus costar Lorenzo Pisoni. For more information on how to see the documentary,
