| | |  Dan’s ‘Equus’ co-star chosen
Out of the 308 actresses who auditioned, 24-year-old Joanna Christie has been chosen to play opposite Dan Radcliffe in Equus. She will play the role of Jill, a girl whom Alan (Dan’s character) dates, which includes a nude scene.
According to the Daily Mail: Quote:
The list was narrowed to six, each taking turns to perform scenes on stage with Daniel in a secret session one lunchtime at the Prince of Wales Theatre.
Joanna was called back four times to test with Daniel in some of the play's most intimate scenes.
'It was the chemistry between them,' observed Mr Pugh, one of the producers of Equus. 'She was the one Daniel fancied the most, and that swung it for us.'

i think she kinda looks like an older blonder version of emma watson. idk maybe ats just me. she does look a bit older though. i hope shes not taller than him and if she is, not by a lot. lol.

Kinda creepy about the older women thing, but either way, as long as she's actually a good actress.

They were probably distinctly looking for actresses that seem a little more experienced in worldly matters. That part may not have been up to Dan. But I haven't seen the other auditioners, either.
Truly, Dan is cute and all, but for that very reason I don't envy her a bit. I do think they'll make a good match for this play. More than ever I hope that they'll release a video of it.
