Adding to the rumors that
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will be heading to Broadway by next year, Page Six
teased that the production may come to the Al Hirschfeld Theater by next theatrical season (which would begin in June 2017).
A previous report stated that the
Cursed Child would indeed make way to New York City by next summer, though at one of the famed
Shubert theaters, but this story may have changed now. This information should of course be taken with a grain of salt, as no official word of the production's run in New York City has yet to be announced.

Those Harry Potter plays play the Al Hirschfeld next season...
The
Cursed Child plays' producers Sonia Friedman and Colin Callendar have already admitted they are considering plans to bring the production overseas, though have not updated on their process.
One final note: the main cast of the London production of
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child have currently only signed contracts through May 2017, and it is to their discretion if they should choose to remain with the show at the Palace Theatre, or - as several actors, including Noma Dumezweni (Hermione Granger) and Sam Clemmett (Albus Potter), have stated - they may want to bring the roles to New York City, as well.
