'Cursed Child' plays' director rumored to visit NYC theaters for possible 2018 open The latest rumor coming out regarding Harry Potter and the Cursed Child's inevitable opening on Broadway says that director John Tiffany, who put together the original London production, is currently in New York City scouting theaters to host the two-part production. The rumor also notes that the Cursed Child would open in on Broadway sometime in 2018. Please note that none of this has been confirmed yet by the producers, J.K Rowling, Tiffany or anyone else involved with the plays. <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> Rowling said as recently as last week's press conference for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them that she hopes Cursed Child comes to Broadway soon, though nothing official as of yet. On a related note, the latest celebrity spotted visiting the West End's Cursed Child earlier this month was Star Wars actress Daisy Ridley, who can be seen here posing with the cast at the Palace Theatre in London. <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> Order the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child script book hardcover on Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk and WBShop now. |
