According to Sussex radio station Southern FM, Warner Bros. is looking for teenagers aged 15 to 18 to play Lavendar Brown and Tom Riddle in the upcoming Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Open auditions will reportedly be held at Earl’s Court in London on July 1 and 8 respectively. Click here for more information.
We have contacted Warner Bros. for confirmation about the legitimacy of these auditions.

I'm 16 and British with absolutely no acting experience and I live 7 hours from london. But I would love to play her. Does it say in the books that she's blonde because i always thought she was brunette? Maybe thats just wishful thinking because I'm a brunette | |

Darnit I'm meant to be working that day...I wonder if I can get out of it to go. I've had very little acting experience but at least I could say that I've auditioned for a HP film..*ponders*
EDIT: just checked the bbc newsround website as they had info on the luna auditions last time and they have all the same information on there about open auditions for lavender and tom riddle so i guess it's all real and legit!
