| | |  Coltrane wraps up OotP Filming
Robbie Coltrane, who plays the giant hearted Hagrid in the Harry Potter films, has finished filming his scenes in the fifth movie. Jam! Television reports that the actor, who is also starring in the upcoming BBC America film, 'Cracker', has completed his part in 'Order of the Phoenix'.
Shooting began earlier this year, with the film's climatic battle in the Ministry of Magic rumoured to begin filming in September, although this has not been confirmed.
The film is expected to be released July 13th 2007. | |

That was quick, but I am glad that he is done cause that just means they are closer to being finished. Man, they do need to hurry up because I don't think I can wait til next year to watch it.

I know a lot of you are surprised at this, but remember that Hagrid's scenes have been shot fairly early. We knew months ago that the Gwarp scenes where being shot, and they tend to shoot the scenes with lots of teachers fairly early in the piece aswell.

That was quick. But then again theyre already about half way through filming and Hagrid was away for just under half of the book.

i can't wait to see if hagrid changes his look a little for OOTP. the other actors have too (dans stupid hair cut etc) so maybe WB have given hagrid a new look, although i hope not. | |
