Clémence Poésy talks 'Goblet of Fire'
 

Cinelive Magazine recently conducted an interview with Clémence Poésy (Fleur). In the article she talks about how she got the part in 'Goblet of Fire' and describes what it was like working with the director and cast.

good interview but u can tell its been translated.. it doesnt entirely make sense.... either that or im reading it wrong lol

i like her a lot at first i thouht she was so wrong for the part of fluer but after seein the stills i began and still am starting to like her playin fluer

Haha, I know! It was hard to read, but I think we got the gist of it.

Clemence is pretty, but she doesn't have that ethereal quality of the Fleur in the books, IMO. But she'll do.

Shes got so much experience hasnt she!! She would of only just come out of school! But then again i dont know how French schools work! By the sound of it she had that place already! Shes got everything! She can speak Frence (obviously!), she can also talk English!, shes got that hair they were looking for. She wasnt what i expected first but now it makes sence! Good pick!

that was an...interesting read. i had to put some of my own translating skills to test. hehe. she sounds cool "ut you came without your mum?" that was hilarious! and i dont like that she said playing fleur is not a challenge and needs little skill...might be a mistake.

the artical was so tiny i had 2 press my face close to my computer screen 2 read lol!!!!! shes very very pretty but like some1 already said she dosent have a vella glow 2 her sorta dull by its werid 2 explain cuz i imagined her glowing cuz she was spose 2 be really pale with a glow 2her taht made her not look like a odinary girl!! that gave her a vibe of magic!!

I'm sorry, I'm sure the article is amazing and so is she, but it's rather poorly translated...that doesn't work for me....but still great right!

She's not how I imagined Fleur to look like but it's not like I can do anything about it:) I hope she makes a good Fleur.

I agree with you about that quote and I want to add the fact that she referred to herself as the "grandmother" :P

I think she's definitely pretty enough and does have long blonde hair, but it's not that silvery blonde described in the book. You think they would have done something to change it for the film. I don't know what - just something to make her more veela-ish.

I wonder if they show the veelas at the Quidditch World Cup. Now that would be interesting.

she is very beautiful, almost like fleur, but you know, she can't be the perfect fleur. she is like, a lot more beautiful than a normal human being.

She seems very professional and very cool. I'm surprised they chose someone older for Fleur...especially because the Harry Potter casting directors are so big on that whole 'be the age' thing...But she seems like she's going to do a great job. She's not exactly what i though Fleur would look like..i mean she's pretty but she's not drop dead gorgeous.

Still though, it looks like they found a good actress-and most importantly one with tons of background, and one fluent in english and french.

Ottery is on the search for his curly brown haired heroine...
 

The translation could have used some spit and polish...but all the same it's nice to be able to read it without having to have my French dictionary next to me... :lol:

And she's very pretty but I would have preferred to see her with long, chocolate brown curls...

that's cool. the translation could've been better but at least i got what she was saying. can't wait to see her in the movie!
