| | |  Borders + Amazon.com taking reservations for Book 7 pre-orders
HPANA is reporting that Borders bookstores in Indiana and New York are taking reservations for pre-orders for HP Book 7.
The site quotes one of the e-mails they've been getting from readers in both states. Quote:
Here in Bloomington, Indiana, at the Borders Book Store at 2634 E. 3rd St, they are accepting reservations for Book 7. I was there for other business yesterday and was surprised to see the reservations sign at the information desk. When I asked about it, the manager said they couldn't take reservations yet because they didn't have a release date. I pointed out the sign to him, which he was surprised to see out. One of the other managers had written a note on the back that they were starting to take reservations, even though the release date hadn't been made public. They had also written a number (an SKU?), which he entered, and sure enough - put my name on the list. I don't know if this is happening nationwide, but the reservation process has at least started here.
ADDITION: Amazon.com is taking online requests for notification to pre-order as well. Be aware! This is a sign-up to receive notice for when you can actually pre-order the book! Not actual pre-orders for the book! The release date is still not known! Quote:

I can't see Book 7 being released this summer, not so close to OOTP being released. My money's on next November................or perhaps Halloween???
I've submitted my email addy but as Lissy said, it's very rare to receive a pre-order notification!!!! Perhaps it's a ploy to get more people on the sites for Christmas.......cynical?? Me??? Never..............  | |
