I've read four. I'm absolutely thrilled to see a Beatrix Potter book up there! Those books are brilliant.

There is some very heavy stuff in there...no offense, but reading the originale Hamlet...Kenneth Brannagh's film version was already difficult with the old english...and i'm supposed to be able to read it?! Don't think so...

The bolds are the one's I've read. Roald Dahl I hardly remember. The other two I didn't like and I don't plan on reading the others. I'm not too big of fan of classics.

Heh! For some reason I find the whole Catcher In The Rye thing hysterical. Just because there is that, I guess urban legend that serial killers read that book. I've read parts of it though... haven't had any serial killer tendencies. LOL
But I absolutely ADORE To Kill A Mocking Bird. I read it in 10th grade and have loved it ever since.
The rest I've either read parts of, saw the movie, or have heard of. After I'm finished re-reading "The Da Vinci Code" (illustrated version) I might check out these recommendations.

I know I've read nine of them and I might have read the other one but I don't remember it. The Beatrice Potter book doesn't stir a memory but the other books I've had to read for classes. On average I read 15 to 20 books a month. Currently I am reading a Civil War novel written by former US President Jimmy Carter.

I have only read 4 of those…. Though I should read the rest they are classics. It would have been only 3 a week ago though because Tina told me to read To Kill a Mockingbird…. So that’s good….. *Runs to Library*

Man... I wish I had actually gotten to read books in school! From 4th grade onto 7th grade, I was in a private school that didn't read any good litature, and was only in 10th grade that I read anything good (To Kill A Mocking Bird) simply because I thought "Lord of the Flies" was an extremely boring book. It's only now that I'm out of school that I've had a chance to read really good books, but I don't always have the chance... But I definitely need to take the time to do it.
