| | |  Bloomsbury reveals future plans for HP series
Recently, Bloomsbury revealed some of the plans they have coming over the next five years for the Harry Potter book series. Today, the AP reports: Quote:
The date for the seventh and final book has not yet been confirmed, but the publisher intends to print a paperback edition 12 months later. It also plans to launch a box-set edition of all the volumes and continue to launch editions to coincide with the film releases, the fifth of which is scheduled for July 2007.
The The Scotsman is also running a feature which mentions cloth-bound and audio editions to come as well. **Note: the mention of a July release for the 'Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix' film should be disregarded as Warner Brothers has already told us that no date has been confirmed yet.

That’s really cool; I was wondering if they might be planning something special. Cloth bound books sound awesome, and the box set sounds cool too- I bet it will weigh a ton! There is a rumor on Amazon that the books will be released on 7-7-07; I hope it wont be any later then that. | |

They haven't released a book and movie at the same time before, they're usually about 6 months apart so if the movie comes out in July I bet the book won't. If I had it my way I'd already have book 7, but realistically it would be nice to get the book on 7/7/07 and OotP theater release maybe a couple weeks later. I'd need time to digest book 7 before seeing the movie. Actually now that I think about it...OotP june release to build up the hype for a 7/7 release of book 7. Either way it's happy birthday to me as my birthday is 7/9!
I will also be graduating paramedic school in May of 2007 so stress will be off and I'll get to concentrate on reading something fun rather than my 11 pound textbook!
