Amazing decision, and I think it worked out beautifully. As for the treating Harry badly, he may have in public, but remember that he was the one who taught him so much about Occlumency. Harry looked too much like James, Snape's former tormentor, so it makes complete sense that Snape may want to see the looks of embarrassment and fear on a face that looked so much like someone who teased Snape extensively during his teenage years and married his crush. Snape also had to keep up appearances to stay in Voldemort's good graces. But in the end, Snape never hurt Harry, and he aided him until the very end. |
