BBFC updates with new Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 deleted scenes
 

The British Board of Film Classification, a highly-reliable source of news regarding film, video, and video game trailers and clips, updated today with information about deleted scenes to be included on the DVD for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2.

The BBFC site stated the following deleted scenes will be:

SCENE 184 - SHELL COTTAGE (01:09:10)
SCENE 185 - HARRY & LUNA AT DOBBY'S GRAVE ON THE BEACH (01:43:09)
SCENE 215 - HOG'S HEAD (00:47:17)
SCENE 229E - MARBLE STAIRCASE - HARRY AND GINNY (00:26:00)
SCENE 242 - WOODEN BRIDGE (00:26:07)
SCENE 245 - HOGWARTS BATTLEMENTS (00:18:03)
SCENE 274 - SLYTHERIN DUNGEONS (00:37:02)
SCENE 346G - MARBLE STAIRCASE - RON & HERMIONE (00:18:20)

Warner Bros has not released any information in regards to deleted scenes, and no release date has yet been announced for the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows- Part 2 DVD. We will update as soon as we learn more.

Can't wait to see the deleted scenes, i hope they include the talk when they find out lupin has a son because it makes no sense that they mentioned him at the very end when they hadn't already mentioned him earlier on in the film. :D

Kind of mad they didn't include the good deleted scenes we know they filmed, like Harry's walk back towards a crowd at the Entrance Hall after Voldemort's death or the daytime Great Hall battle sequence with Neville deflecting spells with the Sword of Gryffindor and McGonagall taking on some Death Eaters. Even Flitwick vs Nagini on the Grand Staircase and Hagrid fighting some Death Eaters during the battle.

I guess these will just stay hidden forever...

Aaah so excited! I love watching deleted and extended scenes. What a shame they won't put a longer King's Cross scene on dvd. It was very cute but too short.

I just want my DVD, man....

I heard that there was a deleted scene for Fred's death. I hope this is true....

One thing caught me eye. A scene which suggesst at a scene which I have commented greatly on. Slytherin Dungeons. Will they try to justify why Minerva was evil enough to send 11 students ranging from 11 to 177 to the Dungeons simply because of ONE STUDENT?!

I'm excited for the DVD release, but even more excited to see DH2 a second time at all (I know, only seen it once so far lol).

I'm pretty sure that scene is of the Slytherins escaping the dungeon; in the trailer from last year for both parts of DH, there's a very brief shot of an explosion from the students as Filch walks away.

Glad they are adding some deleted scenes again, wish there were more added. I'd love to see all of the deleted scenes and outtakes.

The deleted scenes are always average or poor on the Potter dvds.
What about the daytime battle/extended great hall battle that was filmed. Neville carrying a dead boy back. Fred's death scene. Plus beyond Snape vs McGonagal with never actually saw any other teachers fighting (Slughorn/Sprout/Flitwick) blink & you miss them Arthur & Kingsley..Lupin & Tonks nothing. Even Ginny, Luna & Seamus never had a fight scene...just random extras? Don't get me wrong I do love the film, but I think this is it's biggest flaw which could of been corrected with a 2 min montage & Harry should of repaired his wand before breaking the elder wand

Looking forward to these deleted scenes but there was extra footage of the COS, where's that?
It has always irritated me they don't show all the deleted scenes on the dvds. Why hide them?

*fangirl squeal* :faint: Woo hoo! :woot: Even though it's only 26 seconds, and they probably aren't going to talk that much, I'd love to see a little bit more dialogue that followed before or after the kiss on the marble staircase, which I actually liked compared to the other two kisses. :P Maybe he actually does say, "I love you," to Ginny's "I know response." Or maybe they interact a bit after the battle. Eek, I can't wait...even though I have a feeling I will be disappointed like always.

I really want to see those scenes (mostly Harry and Luna at Dobby's grave).

But I hope there's more!! HP movies had some great scenes filmed that never saw the day of light, which is very unfortunate. It's a shame that actors and crew spent time and money doing it and a bigger shame that fans never saw it...

And I keep seeing scenes of Fred backed into a corner being disarmed by a very androgynous death eater on a lot of sites and fanvids, but I don't recall seeing it in the movie proper, so CAN WE HAVE THAT ON IN THERE PLEASE?!?!?!?
