| | |  Asda's Deathly Hallows order canceled UPDATE: Dispute resolved
Bloomsbury Publishers have canceled a shipment of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows to Asda, one of Britain's biggest shopping chains, because of a payment issue.
The delivery was said to be 500,000 copies of the anticipated books. Marketing director of Bloomsbury, Minna Fry, has said that they want to resolve the issue before the book is published. She is told to have said that Asda failed to settle bills with the publisher.
She is quoted saying: Quote:

UPDATE: theBookseller.com is reporting that the dispute between Asda and Bloomsbury has been resolved. Quote:
ASDA apologise unreservedly to Bloomsbury for its press release dated 15th July and withdraw their statement. We look forward to a good relationship with Bloomsbury going forward including selling the latest Harry Potter book from 00:01am BST on Saturday 21st July and many other Bloomsbury books in future."

I read this on the internet the other day. What were they thinking making a statement like that. Bit silly really. Although the book isn't cheap, I still feel the price is fair for what you get.
