[img]http://www.snitchseeker.com/images/news/jkr_80.jpg' align='middle'> An article on fanfiction - Summary:
The Star-Ledger has an article about fan fiction on the internet. This article talks about the popularity of such sites, including The Sugar Quill.net, which is " a spot for "Harry Potter" stories run by volunteers." Article: An article on fanfiction
The Star-Ledger has an article on the subject of fanfiction over the internet. The piece mentions the Sugar Quill.net but apparently this article is incorrect as to what type of stories the Sugar Quill archives; you're advised to visit the site itself for more information.
Here's a quote from the article, Quote: Consider the Sugar Quill (www.sugarquill.net), a spot for "Harry Potter" stories run by volunteers. The site includes a disclaimer acknowledging author J.K. Rowling as "the genius behind Harry Potter" and thanking her for "creating characters and locales, which enable our imaginations to run wild."
And run wild they do. Fan fiction is a genre with few, if any, rules --though some sites, the Sugar Quill included, limit the types of stories they accept. Source: TLC |

I happen to agree with that: the matches they make are unlimited:..
Harry\Hermoine
Hermoine/Ron
Harry/Ginny
Howver, I wouldn't advise the male on male slashes :/ or *gulp* the female on female slashes *don't doubt me, it's true, I've seen their genre and the plot summaries... *

As cool as suger quill is I LOVE fanfiction .net!!! I am so addicted to fanfiction it's not even funny. Draco/Hermione is my favorite along with Harry/Luna. I agree the pairings are unlimited. I mean people write fics with every imaginable character in it. Slash I have to say really creeps me out though....picturing Draco and Harry....ewwww....*shudders*

Looks like I'll have to give this Sugar Quill a shot, and take a gander at it. I haven't been to fanfiction.net in a while, last time I went it took me nearly ten minutes to find a readable non-slash (don't get me started on things of that nature.) fiction, or maybe it was because I wasn't paying attention to what I was clicking on. Probably the latter. *shudders at memories*

Hogwarts RPG Name: November {Noe} Franze First Year | Brain Twin | MASTAH ASHURRII | Reisdent PokeNerd | Digifangirl I prefer fanfiction.net. And I agree with Madame Sparrow. The slash ones are just -shudders- creepy. |

It's going to be Harry and Luna. Possibly, just a little chance Harry and Ginny.
