| | Alfonso: I see Dan directing, Emma singing Emma-Watson.net editor, Jo, has found a previously unseen interview with Alfonso Cuaron by Tim Lammers. The site which the interview is at also has a slideshow and clips from the film. All can be found here. Quote:
"It's amazing source material in terms of themes and how archetypical things are - like the great fairy tales and fables of our time," Cuaron enthused.
Quote:
Cuaron told me he's not proud of what the trio accomplished on the set, but of how they've handled the tidal wave of fame that accompanied them with the films.
"It's amazing, I'm really surprised how they do it - they're so grounded," Cuaron said. "I see them follow-up these films in different career facets. I see Daniel directing and Emma singing, for example. They can do whatever they want. They all have beautiful potential. And right now they're blessing us all with lending their personas to these characters."
Quote:
"The approach is definitely different," said Cuaron. "He's more goofy. But that's what I like about Dumbledore in the books. He would appear to be a fool from the outside but at the same time he has a great sense of honour."
Quote:
Cuaron recalled, "I have to say, I admire Warner Brothers. putting their biggest franchise into the hands of a guy whose films are usually in Spanish with alot of sex."
Thanks to Emma-Watson.net for the tip! |

Alfonso's a cool cat! I'm glad that his comment about Emma singing in the future was based on the fact that she has the potential to be great at anything, otherwise I'd think that we definitely don't need another pop chick out there.

I can't really see Dan directing, but I can totally see Emma singing...she has a really nice voice...
What happened to Rupert?!?

Emma Watson singing.... Mmmm.... Ok I'm gonna put that stupid thought out of my head for now... Anyways... I didn't see anything about Rupert. Kinda upset about that right now.

Uhh.. okay.. can Emma sing?? Honestly, I think she can. She already has a nice voice to start with, when she talks that is. I'm not shocked about the Dan directing part, I agree on that too. Although he didn't mention Rupert, I think he'll be fantastic as an actor.

Yeah, it was a brave move for WB to sign Alfonso for the part, but he did a great job and I am glad that WB took that risk....

However, if Emma can sing (and wants to), then by all means, she should. I just hope they don't trash her up like the "peroxide pop princesses," as I like to call them.

No mention of Rupert ??!
Alfonso 'prat' Cuaron is playing favorites again, as usual-- so UNprofessional!
Can Emma sing ??
And honestly, Dan as a director would be better bcoz I dont think he should consider continuing as an actor if he doesnt improve his acting!
But I see Dan more likely to enter the music biz-- forming a punk band, either being a member of that band or just being its manager/producer.. or he'd probably put up his own new recording company label of sorts
Emma could be one of his artists/talents.. if she does become a singer
