Advance tickets for 'Equus', the new play starring Dan Radcliffe and his Harry Potter co-star Richard Griffiths (Vernon Dursley), are being sold online through DanRadcliffe.co.uk and DanRadcliffe.com. Dan sent a message to his fans on the two sites regarding his controversial new role: Quote:
"I just wanted to thank all my fans for the tremendous support you have shown me in my forthcoming role of Alan Strang in Peter Shaffer's Equus. As you know, this is an incredibly powerful drama and the decision to play this part was not one taken lightly. This role will stretch me as an actor further than I can possibly imagine and I am so excited to be involved in this production and to be directed in my theatre debut by one of the most talented directors working today, Thea Sharrock. I am also delighted to be starring opposite Richard Griffiths who of course, aside from playing 'my Uncle Vernon' was just recently awarded a Tony for his performance in The History Boys. He is truly a remarkable actor and there is no one I'd rather have guide me through this unique stage experience. Thank you again, your support means the world to me".

Yeah, i bet it wasnt an easy decision since he is going to be nude

And even if it does come here, I probably won't see it either. I'm not very fond of live nudity on stage Its quite embarrassing -- people looking at you and suspecting you're just there for it LOL

I wish they would have that play here in America. Prefferably in Ohio. Everything happen's in London. That's why I have decided to move there when I graduate from High School. Only four years. Then I am off to London!!! But I bet Dan will be great in that play. Sounds like a great play to see. I love to go to plays.... I went to see Beauty and the Beast with my grandmother and I liked it a lot. So I am missing something that is truly going to be great!!!
