Mike Newell is rumored to be in negotiations to take on Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire when Alfonso Cuaron lays down the reigns after completing work on The Prisoner of Azkaban.
I don't want to sound too harsh, but I know from a reliable source (that means a news magazine) that Chris Columbus is going to take on Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire after Alfonzo Cuaron finishes with Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Fire. I'm pretty sure about this.
I heard that Columbus was interested in the fifth not the fourth movie since the latter is starting way too soon. I wonder why Cuaron isn't going to continue doing the movies. He doesn't want to? WB doesn't want him to? Hmmm...interesting.

well, Alfonzo only singned the contract for the one movie.(poa...duh, why am i saying that!) if he wants to come back, than i guess that he would have to sign another
I heard that a British director is linked for the 4th movie, I heard it from CBBC newsround. I also heard that Chris Columbus is intrested in doing the 5th too.
Yeah, I find it interesting that Alfonso would only do one movie. Also, doesn't it seem a little random that Columbus would do the fifth? I wonder why he wants to do that particular movie...

well obviously since Alfonzo(i dont like him cuz he said he hated Bush! > ) is directing the 3rd movie, and Mike (or someone else) is directing the 4th movie, then the only one thats left is the 5th one! lol...wow think about it...omly 2 more books left until the series id over! . But on a happier note, we still have 5 more movies!
