What was your first reaction when you finished the series?
 

Imagine it - you just finished the last page of Deathly Hallows. Did you cry? Laugh? Feel accomplished? Wonder how on Earth you were going to go on without any more Harry Potter content?! Let us know below!

For me, there were a bunch of emotions: happiness because the good side had won, sadness because the series was over, pride because these books helped to shape me, numbness because I was so in awe of the entire story and the sheer brilliance of every word.

These reactions are not something I'll ever forget :3

Sadness. I grew up with these characters. But I visit them once a year so we keep in touch :)

I was exhausted when I finished because that last battle was a roller coaster. I had to keep going back and re-reading parts because it was 2 AM and I was like 'wait WHO just died?!' When she killed off my dearest Fred...omg. Sobbing.

And don't even get me STARTED on Neville during the final battle, I was a MESS. I thought for sure he was going to die after telling Voldemort he'd join him when h*** froze over :whaa:

All in all I had such a feeling of accomplishment when it was done, but I was also upset that it was done :lol:

My Honest reaction was;
" Damn, i finished the series "
yah lol, but now im happy, that i finished what i loved most, but kinda dissapointed aswell as the ending so me sucked, not the best compared to the rest of the series. but over all i was amazed i finished the series, being with it so long you realize theres no more new adventures to explore

Relieved that Harry was ALIVE and Voldemort gone but also sad that the whole saga is over. The feel of bitter-sweetness. No more books to be waiting for.
