Flat: Fullers Welcome to the flat of Curtis Fuller and Sadie Kareless, located above Noltie's Botanical Novelties! As you enter through the front door, you are greeted with the sight of the open living room and dining room combination. You can do what you want with this space, whether that be adding a a dining table to the left hand side giving a comfortable location to eat or have the room just be one large living space. If you walk all the way through the living room, there is a sliding glass door leading out to your personal balcony that looks out over the Alley. This is a great space to sit to drink your mid afternoon tea or early morning coffee - or the perfect spot for a little garden! All SS site rules must be adhered to at all times in this thread. Move-in day Curtis arrived in his new space, ahem, their new space carrying an open box filled with potted plants and... trailing behind him was a new friend. Who meowed in protest at the office door separating the two as Curtis placed a new plant down. He looked back, "Don't look at me like that. The Queen says its too dangerous for you in here," smirking as he closed the door after he emerged back from the plant office. Though he did agree with her, maybe, just maybe it wouldn't hurt giving them a tour one of these days. "C'mon, let's help her out with the other boxes," Curtis barely moved himself before little Pew Pew jumped to his shoulders for a ride as he went for another box to unload. |
It was a good thing that the Queen was currently in said office positioning and repositioning her equipment and wondering if she ought to move the bookcase back to the left and just maybe her hanging terrariums should be placed just a hair more to the left in the back corner of the space and maybe the ones by the window a little more to the right. It wasn't like she had assembled, disassembled, and reassembled the space three times already or anything. Shut up, Fuller. Perfectionism was simply a deep love of being meticulous and a Ravenclaw's selective passions were not to be meddled with nor ridiculed! He could always try his luck if he felt like playing with fire again today. They did have a nice couch being delivered later this afternoon that he could trial. The desk area was the only thing entirely to her liking with all her brass instruments arranged neatly along the wall and all her glass beakers and flasks aligning the shelves above it. It was the perfect workspace in a room that was otherwise chaotic. Maybe if she had some books to arrange in the bookcase she would feel better about its current placement...yes, that was obviously the issue: the vacancy. Adjust the strap on her jean overalls so it would stop sliding off her shoulder while she worked, Sadie carefully opened the door and peeked out to see Curtis and his twin waltzing about the place. "Look for the boxes labeled library," she instructed while half emerged from the door. |
"Got it," Curtis lazily replied as he returned with the box in toe. To save his back, he wordlessly had it levitated. "Sorry, PewPew, you know the rules," Curtis said. He could've sworn PewPew gave him a stern look before zooming away. He might have to check one of his clothes later incase they decided to leave their mark on it. But for now, he entered back into the office. Gently lowering the box of books on the free table. Slowly, he walked over behind her inching to see what Sadie was working on next, "Anything else, my Queen?" Maybe a nice massage over those tired arms? Or a nice meal cooked |
Curtis was a lot of things and among those things was a rather lengthy list of infuriating things. On this list was his insistence upon calling her Queen and their cat Pew Pew (Pewter was a perfectly lovely name, Fuller) but she was willing to overlooked it and compromise her frustrations with a dash of gratitude in light of the ease with which he took her instructions and brought her precisely what she asked for. Even if moving out of her testosterone heavy flat to this one, still with plenty of testosterone embodied in one individual as opposed to four, was long overdue...moving was still stressful and right up there in the upper echelons of the list of stressful life events. "Thank you," she replied in a deceitfully exasperated tone while giving her hand a firm flourish from the wrist towards the door. Nonverbals were second nature with the majority of her bread and butter spellwork at this point, but wandless was a far more finite list. Closing and locking doors was a necessity and therefore made the list. "You can start putting books on the shelves next," she nodded towards said bookshelf with a roll of the shoulders. "Though consider it a litmus test for organizational and observational skills." Also known as whether or not she could trust him with her research or if he would earn himself the Pewter treatment on a provisional basis. He had attempted to (and succeeded on the rare occasion) disrupt her studying plenty of times by now to know how compulsive she was about these things. And, yes...a shoulder and arm massage would be appreciated in due time |
