On the couch
You came for me
The last time you
Would ever get up
The last time
You ever left the sanctuary of your bed
The last time you could speak
And I could understand your voice
When you cradled Junior
Like he could save you
I almost cried
Next to you
But instead I pretended
To lean on your delicate shoulder
And sleep

In your bed
You moved for me
The last time you
Ever lifted your arms from their place at your sides
The last time you looked at me
And recognized me
When you stared blankly at the empty TV
I almost cried
But instead I pretended
To grab your delicate hand
And pray

CAN'T
My life sucks and always will
i try to be happy but i can't
i try to laugh but i can't
i try to smile but i can't
i try to sleep sleep but i can't
i can't do anything without you
i can't be happy because there is nothing to be
happy about
i can't laugh because there is nothing to laugh at
i can't smile because i forgot how to
i can't sleep because....your not there

my grandfather who recently passed away. healthy as a horse until 2 months prior his death. cancer. this one's for my friend. she's broken now. And I wish she were happy. her mom is not shall we say- responsible?

to iornman, you are obviously upset or missing someone, i really like your poetry because it's so deep and full of emotions. my favourite was FOREVER.

to theymightbefishies, i really enjoyed your poetry and your use of words. i found some parts a bit hard to follow, but it's all cool cuz that your style. my faveourite one was the one to your broken friend.

Into this poem I poured all of my feelings. I love him so much. More than... Nothing can compare. But I don't know if he loves me back. He did before but I wasn't ready. And now I don't know if he wants what i do. I think he's my soul mate.Because now that he's gone I can't love anyone else.
